Kelly Moore **
Kelly Moore was introducted to Iyengar yoga in 1995, inspired during a time of life transition. The experience of yoga brought a sense of grounding, introspection, and bliss, along with back and neck pain relief.
While a personal practice deepened, Kelly transitioned from working in the Social Services to becoming a Neuromuscular Therapist and Instructor. With a busy therapeutic practice working regularly with various spinal issues, combined with years of teaching anatomy and hands on bodywork techniques at a massage school in Denver, Kelly was interested to bring knowledge and self care methods to her clients. Yoga, bringing both the physical therapeutic benefits along with the deeper sense of inner and outer awareness, was the tool.
Kelly, a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, along with her husband Steven Norber, also a Certified Iyengar Yoga Instructor, opened Living Yoga, a yoga studio and wellness center in Denver, CO.
Kelly has studied with the Iyengar family in Pune, India and regularly studies with senior Iyengar Yoga Instructors. Scoliosis and back care yoga training has been with Elise Miller, Bobblie Fultz, and Stephanie Quirk.
Kelly currently serves on the board for IMIYA (InterMountain Iyengar Yoga Association) as President, to further the education of the community about the profound benefits of Iyengar Yoga.
Kelly teaches group classes, private sessions, and has a yoga program currently airing on Comcast Television CET channel 105 viewable for Colorado residents.
